How Fast Do Homes Sell in Vienna, Fairfax & Alexandria? Top Zip Codes Revealed!

Attention homebuyers! Want to know where homes are flying off the shelves in Northern Virginia? In April, some zip codes saw houses snapped up in as few as 4 days! This blog reveals the top 3 contenders and what makes them so desirable.

1. Vienna (zip code 22182):

I was shocked to see how fast homes were selling in Vienna this month! The median days on market was only 6 days. That means from the day a house goes active to the day the seller accepts an offer. So, if a house went on the market on a Thursday or Friday, it was probably under contract by Wednesday! This zip code has a mix of everything – single-family houses, townhouses, and condos. There are many older ramblers, but you'll also see quite a number of brand new construction, which is why the price tag goes up considerably. The median sales price for single-family homes in April was a whopping $1.69 million! That's a jump from $1.137 million last month.
